If you have to be admitted to hospital (Einweisung)

• In case of a planned stay, you receive a referral or admittance certificate (Einweisung) from your doctor. This certificate contains important information for the treatment in hospital.
• Your doctor informs you why you are admitted to hospital and what kind of examination or treatment you will receive.
• Please ask if there is anything you did not understand! Make notes!
• Your doctor supports you in choosing a hospital.
  Attention: Not every hospital carries out every examination and every treatment.
• Your doctor will determine how long you will likely be unable to work.
  Inform your employer about your medical condition
